D&L Heating and Air was formed in 1999 upon creation of a partnership between Randal Lowe and Mike Durden. Randal Lowe owner of Randal Lowe Enterprises the largest residential new construction plumbing company in Georgia at that time saw a need in the industry for an honest reliable heating and air conditioning contractor. Having known Mike Durden for years and being familiar with his high quality work a meeting was held a partnership formed.

D&L heating and Air has been the recipient of the Lennox Circle of Excellence award multiple times. This award recognizes the top 1% of Lennox dealers. In addition two of our clients, some of Atlanta’s largest home builders shared the JD Power award for Atlanta’s Top Homebuilder 6 years in a row. D&L has completed projects ranging from 600 square foot apartments to the largest private residence built in the state of Georgia in 2009. We also have completed many commercial projects you may have visited, pizza parlors, ice cream shops, a Cinnabon, NAPA stores, office buildings, warehouse complexes and even a movie studio!

We have built a reputation based simply on satisfied customers and word of mouth. We have advertised very little, in fact you have probably never heard of us. However the quality and value in our work has spoken to builders and investors all over every county in Georgia.

We currently hold many state HVAC licenses for both residential (our specialty) and commercial work in addition to certifications in duct design, air filtration technology, energy savings, blower door and duct leakage testing. We are heating and air conditioning advisers to the Cobb County Commission here in our home county. 

We employ a staff of more than 40 employees in every HVAC discipline from administrative staff, service technicians, design professionals, punch men, natural gas specialists, and the best field supervisors and layout men in the state.

We are a financially secure company that owns outright all of our company’s assets. Having never owed a supplier a penny overdue has allowed us to secure the best pricing available to any contractor.
